Winter snatches her jewels to keep them safe;
but the icicles fall and shatter.
Spring chases her gloomy sister away;
flower buds poke out of the ground.
She spreads her joy with the renewal of sun and rain;
dew hangs to new flower petals, birds sing to the morning rays.
For a time everyone is happy and rejuvenated;
puffy springy clouds fill the clear blue sky.
The warm breeze dances and sings;
smile on every face.
Summer calls to spring, it's time to leave;
Flowers full in bloom, bursting with energy.
Spring's job is done.
